Digital Research Infrastructure for the Humanities and Arts DARIAH-PL

The aim of the project is the development of a national smart digital research infrastructure for the humanities and arts. As part of the project activities, a national ecosystem is being created that will enable interdisciplinary research on materials subject to archaeological research as well as on Polish cultural heritage.
The developed infrastructure, which constitutes the main result of the project, will be used in both national and international research and scientific projects, as well as in the implementation of initiatives carried out in cooperation with commercial partners. The project's results, such as research object processing services, research data linking, and tools for implementing advanced research scenarios, will contribute to strengthening Polish digital humanities and arts. They will also aid the process of removing barriers to accessing interconnected digital resources and tools for people with disabilities, and will positively influence the implementation of the equal opportunity policy.
The project is implemented by experienced specialists from the DARIAH-PL Consortium, who possess extensive knowledge and experience in implementing investments in research infrastructure:

Poznan University of Technology implements the infrastructure dedicated to musicological research. The project tasks are carried out by employees of the Institute of Computing Science.
